Fireplace & Wet Bar Feature Wall

This project reimagined an outdated wall into a modern focal point with a recessed TV, linear fireplace, and integrated wet bar. Designed as part of a larger renovation, the goal was to create a feature that works with the space—not against it.

Before

During

Structural framing, electrical updates, and layout adjustments were completed to support the new recessed elements and integrated design.

After

Final layout improves function, flow, and long-term usability—not just appearance.

The original layout lacked definition and did not function well as a focal point within the space.

This project demonstrates the importance of addressing layout and structural challenges correctly—temporary fixes don’t resolve the underlying problem or prevent future issues.

If you’re dealing with an outdated space or something that isn’t functioning the way it should, it’s worth addressing it the right way before it becomes a bigger problem.

Scope & Project Highlights

This renovation extended well beyond the kitchen and included coordinated changes across multiple areas of the home.

Key improvements included:

  • Reframed wall to accommodate recessed TV and linear fireplace

  • Integrated wet bar with cabinetry, shelving, and tile backsplash

  • Electrical and mechanical updates to support new layout

  • Finish selections coordinated to tie the feature wall into adjacent spaces

  • Work completed as part of a larger plan focused on flow and usability

Each element was designed and built as part of a cohesive plan—focused on long-term function, usability, and clean integration into the overall space.
